To change your WordPress blog language you just need to follow a simple procedure. Before you start, you need to know that all the informations concerning languages are included in specific files with .mo extensions inside wp-content/languages/ folder. If your WordPress is in English the folder may be empty, may not be existing at all or include files in other languages.

After the download is completed, unzip it and upload all files via FTP in the dedicated folder (wp-content/languages). Then open the wp-config.php file via FTP and change the following string:

to
define ('WPLANG', 'it_IT');
In the end, upload the wp-config.php file in your domain to change your blog's language.
