To transfer a domain from 1 & 1 to Keliweb just follow a few simple steps. Before proceeding with the transfer, verify that the e-mail of the domain is existing and accessible. In fact, you will receive an e-mail confirming the start of the transfer procedure. Within the same email you will find a link to use in case you wish to interrupt the migration process. If the e-mail is found to be incorrect or different, it will be necessary to contact 1 & 1 and change it.
To transfer your domain you have to:
- Unlock your domain from your 1&1 control panel
- Disable your domain privacy
- Request the Authorization code (AuthInfo /Authcode /EPP)
- Enter the Authorization code when required.
To unlock your domain you have to:
- Log-in to your 1&1 customer area
- In the field "Domains & Web space" click "Domains"
- Select the domain you want to transfer to Keliweb and click "Information"
- Click "Unlock domain"
- Select "Unlock" and click "OK"
- As the unlock procedure is completed you will receive a confirmation message.
To get the Authorization Code you have to:
- Login to your 1&1 customer area
- In the field "Domains and Web space", click "Domains"
- Select the domain you want to transfer to Keliweb and click "Information"
- Copy the AuthInfo code placed in the latest line of the "Information" section.
The transfer of a domain .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO and other generic extensions has to be completed in 7 days from the beginning of the procedure. Otherwise, the transfer of a domain .EU is instant.
